Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre - Have you ever dreamed of being a part of a Broadway musical? Well, your chance to shine will occur during our popular Musical Theatre session. The IMC Musical Theatre week is open to students who have finished grades 5-12. Younger students (finishing grades 5-8) will learn techniques of acting, singing, and dancing, and will prepare a production of show scenes to present at the end of the week. Students who have completed grades 9-12 and have had some theatre experience will experience a more intense program. Throughout the week, students will share the various aspects of presenting a successful show: movement, singing and stage combat, as well as serving as chorus members, dancers, and in lead roles. Our faculty of professional artists will focus on all the essential elements of a successful musical show, and participants will have a well-rounded experience. $370.00 USD for the week before May 1st / $385.00 USD after May 1st
There will be a $10.00 fee for materials. There will be a spot for students to recycle their music if they choose.
