Garage Band
This exciting program will be offered during Sessions 3 & 4 and will take rock ‘n' roll musicians to new levels of performance! Students will spend the week studying instrumental technique from our staff of artist-teachers, exploring how to make the best use of electronic technology in a musical group, marketing and promoting a garage band, learning music theory and ear-training, practicing small-group rehearsal and performance techniques in various rock styles, and writing and producing your own songs. Performances will take place Friday night and Saturday morning each week.
It is recommended that you have some experience on your instrument. Students are expected to bring their own instruments and amps. This class is open to students who have completed grade 8 through 12. Enrollment in Garage Band session will fill quickly, with some spots left open for keyboard and bass players. If you play more than one instrument, PLEASE indicate that on your registration!
Poppler's Music of Grand Forks is a generous sponsor of this program.
