The International Music Camp proudly presents "Oktubafest 2013", October 4-6, 2013 at the International Peace Garden on the Manitoba/North Dakota border.
The weekend will include events for tuba and euphonium players of all ages. We are planning recitals by guest artists, repertoire sessions for euphonium and tuba solos and tuba quartets, master classes, a Massed Tuba-Euphonium Choir (for all participants), an Oktubafest Band, Tuba Sunday Morning, and performance of newly written works for tuba quartet. Preliminary plans also include a TubaChristmas reading session. We invite participants to Oktubafest who are high school and college/university musicians and teachers, as well as amateur and professional artists.

We will announce our invited guest artists for the weekend in early June 2013. Quartets and soloists will be invited to participate as performers, as well.
Many activities for participants, families and the general public will be offered at the International Peace Garden during Oktubafest. These include dancing, German food, tours and hiking throughout the Gardens and more.
A tentative schedule and MUCH MORE information regarding registration and lodging for participants will be forthcoming. Check back often!
