The first Oktubafest at IMC is history! A wonderful weekend was enjoyed by about 30 euphonium and tuba players from both sides of the border. Adam Frey and Jerry Young were the guest artists, and they performed a recital Friday night and led master classes on Saturday. A massed choir rehearsed and performed Saturday evening. The late evening Oktubafest Band was enjoyed by all, and the event wrapped up with a Tuba Sunday service and a TubaChristmas reading session. The German food was awesome, and the weather was, well, not too bad. Plans for Oktubafest II are already in progress. Thanks to all who participated!
