Jocelyn Hagen's "Fanfare" Premiered Posted on 6/24/2010
Students and staff at IMC witnessed a World Premiere of Fanfare, from "a tree will have its branches" by Jocelyn Hagen on Wednesday night, June 23. The International Brass Quintet performed the piece to open the weekly Faculty Recital at the Burdick Center for the Performing Arts. Jocelyn Hagen is leading 11 students in the first Composition Camp during this week. She lives in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area, and was recently awarded a McKnight Fellowship for composition.
