Mission Statement
The mission of the International Music Camp is to enrich lives through artistic expression and personal growth, accomplished by opportunities provided through a summer school of fine arts located at the International Peace Garden on the Canada/USA border between Manitoba and North Dakota. Young people and adults who participate in camp sessions are immersed in a rich creative culture, which encourages individual expression, group interaction, and the development of independent thinking and decision-making. Activities in music, theatre, dance, writing, and visual art are taught and led by professional artist-teachers who serve as motivational role models and who are dedicated to providing exemplary instruction and direction, a positive and nurturing environment, and authentic learning experiences.
